Domain Aftermarket: Highest domain sales of all time
The domain name Viajes.com (Spanish for "travel") has been sold for $300,000 US dollars. It was sold from Jose Navarro Rubert to the domain investor Christian A. Chena. Chena recently bought Politica.com ("politics") and Periodicos.com ("newspapers") from the same seller, reports Domain Name Journal.
In addition the domains SSM.com and eCruise.com were sold last week. SSM.com
went for $145,000 and eCruise.com was sold for $100,000 in cash (plus a 10-year
option to buy the company's stock at a preset price). eCruise.com was sold by
Rick Schwartz, that 10 months ago made global headlines by selling Men.com for
more than $1 million. The list of highest domain sales of all time has been
updated.

Here is the list of all domain sales over $100.000. Some of the sales still
need public verification. This list is for pure domain name sales, not sales
attached with a business (for instance was the domain Advertising.com sold with
the business, hence it doesn't qualify).
