Look to Resell .pw Domain Registration
"The PW Registry Corporation (pwregistry.pw), registrar for the .pw top-level domain, announced on Monday that Canadian Internet service provider Look Communications (look.ca) will include spam-free .pw email addresses with its broadband service offerings under a reseller agreement between the two companies. PW Registry's spam blocking service allows it to block unsolicited email before it enters the service provider network.
"Spam is a major cause of customer turnover in the service provider industry and an ongoing and significant strain on network hardware and expenses," says Tom Barrett, CEO and president of PW Registry. "PW Registry applies industry-leading anti-spam technology to protect end-users from unwanted spam. Because PW Registry operates the .pw top-level domain, we block spam at the core of the Internet, before it reaches service provider networks."

The .pw domain, unveiled earlier this year, stands for "personal web," and is intended for people and "communities of shared interests."
"Look has consistently introduced new innovations to the ISP marketplace," says Michael Cytrynbaum, chairman of Look Communications. "As one of the first .pw resellers, we can virtually guarantee that our customers will get their choice of .pw privacy-enabled email addresses."
The .pw domain, currently in the middle of a trial period, is scheduled to
formally launch in September, with addresses sold only through accredited resellers.
